Although Christina sometimes wears too much makeup she can greatly benefit from a few enhancements. She should contour her cheekbones and focus on her eyes to create a sultry, natural look.

To create an edgy look like Christina Aguilera’s, follow these easy steps:

Use concealer to cover dark circles. One of the most notable things about this photo is the clear, clean finish of her skin. Although this photo has amazing lighting and could have been enhanced, you can still achieve great skin by creating a proper base for the rest of your makeup. Add blush to the apples of your cheeks to create a contrast.

Apply a black eyeshadow to the outer corners of your eyes and blend. Make sure that you properly blend the shadow for a beautiful smokey finish. You want the end result to look smudged and sultry, so you want to get rid of any harsh lines. Line your upper lashline with black liquid liner and apply mascara to both the upper and lower lashes. If you want to add even more intensity, add a pair of false lashes.

Finish with a coat of berry colored lipstick. Rather than leaving a heavy finish, you can blot your lips with a tissue to create more of a stained look. You can also try wearing a berry lip stain for a subtle pop of color that will last. If you want a glossier finish, put on a coat of clear lipgloss over the lipstick or lip stain.
