Leopard nail art is super fierce and girls everywhere have been putting twists on this wild little trend. There have been tons of pics popping up with different variations of this simple nail art design. All you have to do to create this trend at home is grab two or three nail polishes that you think will work together and a dotting tool.

Coat your nails with the first color, preferably a light one, and let them dry. You can either add random, uneven spots of color all over your nails or your can skip straight to the next step. Use a nail dotting tool to dot a fairly thick dot of color on your nails and then drag the color into the shape of leopard spots.

Let these spots dry and then coat your nails with a clear polish to add shine. You can either wear a standard leopard print on your nails or you can change things up a bit. Here are some incredible leopard nail designs to help inspire your design:

Applying leopard print to just the tips and an outer side of your nail can really create an awesome look. Contrasting colors like muted yellows and coral-y pinks look great on leopard nails.

Using rhinestones in the centers of your leopard spots creates a fun, glitzy vibe. After applying your polish, go back in with an adhesive and apply the rhinestones on the spots.

Change up the leopard nail art trend by only applying leopard spots to the bottoms of the nails and diagonally to the tip of your nails. You can also do one fingernail in a different color to incorporate two great trends into one.

This style is a bit impractical because of the embellishments, but it gives you an idea of how to create a fun, new look. By only partially covering the nails in leopard print and adding rhinestones and other pretty decals, your look changes entirely.

Rainbow shades really kick up the leopard nail art craze. By using black and white to outline the spots, the bright colors really pop.
