Pink Smokey Eye Tutorial by Orlando Makeup Artist

Pink Smokey Eye Tutorial by Orlando makeup artist and LA makeup artist

Pink smokey eyes can be a fun alternative to the classic smokey eye makeup look and they can really create a nice contrast against the eye color, but keep in mind that pink smokey eyes look much more dramatic in real life than they do in pictures so wear this look when you are going out at night or to an occasion where bright makeup is acceptable. It is very important to find pink shades that will blend together easily and accentuate the eyes.

First, find a pale baby pink that will look natural on the eye instead of too pastel or chalky. After applying a primer use this shadow on your eyelid all the way up to your brow bone. Next, use a truer, brighter pink in the crease of your eye. Follow up by applying a darker shade of pink or a bolder magenta to the outer corners of your eyes and along the lower lashline. Thoroughly blend all of the colors together, making sure not to leave a sharp line of color on the outer corners.

Use a black eyeliner along your waterline and smudge if desired. Apply a gel liner to the upper lashline and blend the liner in between the lashes with a q-tip. Add mascara to both the upper and lower lashes by wiggling the mascara wand back and forth horizontally across the lashes. For even more drama, add false lashes. This look is perfect to pair with a pink accessory or piece of clothing.
