The Tony Awards have everyone talking and the attendees’ outfits, hair, and makeup definitely didn’t disappoint. The celebrities strolled the red carpet in their very best, but the one thing that stood out was everyone’s fabulous ‘dos. Despite the summer heat, these glamorous celebs had perfectly gorgeous tresses.
Amanda Seyfried looked absolutely amazing at the 66th Annual Tony Awards. Not only did her dress pop against her radiant skin, but her bright summery lipstick created a beautiful contrast. Her eyes sparkled with minimal makeup and perfectly sculpted eyebrows. Her hair really pulled together the summery shade with its ultra trendy “wet look”. Try using a pomade or gel to slick your hair back into a sleek ponytail for this ultimate summer look. Not only will it look great at a fancy event, but it will also be perfect for poolside outings.
Could this woman possibly have more envy-worthy hair? As if the sleek shine wasn’t enough, she has a gorgeous red tone that is practically impossible to maintain. Forget the dress and the makeup. Jessica Chastain’s hair at the Tony Awards was enough to turn everyone’s head. Even if red isn’t your shade, you can easily achieve her shine and bouncy waves. Before drying your hair, apply a shine serum and do a round brush blowdry. Curl your hair in the same direction and set it in pin curls. Spray on a high shine hairspray like Bumble & bumble’s Does It All Spray to lock in shine and add hold. Brush out the curls and shape them after you have let them set and have taken them down.
Wowza! Look at that plunging neckline. This sparkly number stole the show at the 2012 Tony Awards. Beth Behrs wowed everyone in her glitzy red gown. Her dark, sultry eyes were perfectly paired with this stunning gown. Her hair was slicked back into a simple style which was ideal for this daring number. She wore minimal jewelry and let her neckline do the talking. Whenever you are wearing something to make a statement, you never want to outdo it with other style choices. For instance, if you are wearing an outrageous dress you don’t want to overwhelm it with extreme hair and makeup and vice versa.
Whenever you are going to a sophisticated event, it is always best to keep it simple like these ladies. When you try to wear too many statement pieces or go overboard with the beauty routine that’s when you end up with a fashion fail. Let your natural beauty shine through and go with more natural looking hairstyles and makeup and you will definitely wow the crowd.
